2'' NPT Stainless Steel 304 Check Valve FKM 0.03-16bar (0.44-232psi)

2 inch NPT check valve made of stainless steel 304 with an FKM seal. The minimum differential pressure across the non-return valve must be higher than 0.03 bar (0.44 psi). The valve has a spring to close the valve when the flow is below the minimum pressure and to prevent backflow. The maximum operating pressure is 16 bar (232 psi). The valve is suitable for operating temperatures between -20 and 150° C (-4 to 302° F). The Kv-value is 56 m3/h (934 l/min @1 bar pressure). In imperial units: Cv = 64.74 GPM @ 1 psi pressure.

Pros:

• This valve has a 2 inch NPT connection type

• FKM is suitable for oils, fuels, air, water and many chemicals

Cons:

• FKM is not suitable for boiling water or steam. EPDM or PTFE are suitable alternatives in this case
• 304 is less resistant than 316 stainless steel
