G1/2'' PA Check Valve NBR 0.03-6bar (0.44-87psi) [12 Pieces]
G 1/2 inch check valve made of polyamide (nylon) with an NBR seal. The minimum differential pressure across the non-return valve must be higher than 0.03 bar (0.44 psi). The valve has a spring to close the valve when the flow is below the minimum pressure and to prevent backflow. The maximum operating pressure is 6 bar (87 psi). The valve is suitable for operating temperatures between -25 and 90° C (-13 to 194° F). The Kv-value is 5.8 m3/h (96.69 l/min @1 bar pressure). In imperial units: Cv = 6.7 GPM @ 1 psi pressure.

Pros:
- NBR can be used with water, air, oil, solvents and alcohol
- The fibre reinforced Nylon is inexpensive and provides reasonable mechanical and chemical properties
- The disc and spring are made from 316 stainless steel
Cons:
- The maximum pressure is 6 bars (87 psi)
- NBR is unsuitable for brake fluid and polar solvents. EPDM or FKM are suitable alternatives in this case
- A backpressures of >0.1 bar is required for reliable sealing. We do not advise this valve to be used as a foot valve
Check valve series
The Mondeo Amita series is a plastic check valve made from fibre reinforced Polyamide (Nylon). They are available from G1/2 inch up to G 1 1/2 inch. Nylon material provides a lightweight and cost-effective alternative to stainless steel or brass for lower demanding applications.
