3M™ Scotchcast™ Resin kit 92-NBB GS is a top-notch Y-branch electrical splice, appropriate for up to 1 kV application. This kit includes the high-quality, epoxy-based, CMR-free 3M™ Scotchcast™ Resin 4 GS that undergoes a color change when its two components are precisely mixed together. The innovative 3M closed mix and pouring system enables a swift and tidy delivery of the resin into the transparent mold body design.
This kit is utilized for the insulation and mechanical protection of low voltage cable connections up to 1 kV. The product comes in three size options ranging from Size 0 to Size 2, covering a variety of cable cross sections from 1.5 mm2 to 35 mm2. Moreover, Size 1 and Size 2 are also available with a connector included.
The ingenious design of the 3M™ Scotchcast™ Resin kit 92-NBB GS allows for a fast and clean installation, with the assistance of the 3M-patented spout integrated into the resin bag and the mold body. The complete transparency of the mold ensures the correct setting of the cable. 3M™ Scotchcast™ 4 GS hydrophobic and CMR-free epoxy resin is in compliance with IEC 60455-3-8 requirements.
It is also compliant with the EU directive 2011/65/EU (RoHS) and EU directive 1907/2007/EC (REACH), guaranteeing the highest level of electrical insulation for professional use.
