Solenoid Valve 3/2 SFB Stainless Steel 230VUC ATEX 0331 305786
Notice: This product is discontinued
Bürkert 3/2-way solenoid valve (type 0331) with 32x46 mm SFB flange and a 230V UC coil. Universal function (flow in both directions) and direct operating, so no differential pressure required. Suitable for slightly contaminated and aggressive media (media separation). For media with max 90°C at a differential pressure of 0-10 bar. Housing of stainless steel with FKM sealing and a 2 mm orifice. The Kv-value is 0.1 m3/h (1.67 l/min at dp=1 bar water). Manual override feature. Certified up to ATEX zone 1.

Description
Bürkert direct operating 3/2-way solenoid valve with 32x46 mm Bürkert SFB flange and 230V UC (alternating or direct current) coil. The valve has a stainless steel housing with FKM sealing and an orifice size of 2 mm. The circuit function of the solenoid valve is universal, which means the flow is bi-directional. Suitable for systems with a differential pressure of 0-10 bar and a maximum temperature of 90°C. The valve has a Kv-value of 0.1 m3/h, this translates to a flow rate of 1.67 l/min at the differential pressure of 1 bar (for water). This model is media separated and can therefore be used for slightly contaminated and aggressive media. The stainless steel housing is very durable, strong and resistant to a wide range of chemicals with the exception of chloride solutions. The FKM (fluorine rubber or viton) sealing has excellent chemical properties, is suited for most oils and solvents but it cannot handle hot water or steam. Consult our chemical resistance chart to verify compatibility of housing and seals with the medium. Manual override feature can be used to commission the system. The valve is certified for ATEX Ex-Zone 1, so it can be used in potentially explosive environments requiring this certification. The valve has an IP65 rating if properly connected.
Important advantages
- ATEX certified up to Ex-Zone 1
- Can be used with slightly contaminated or aggressive media thanks to the media separated design
- As standard, it is equipped with a robust manual override for easy comissioning and in case of a power outage
- Good protection against the environment thanks to the IP65 rating
- Bürkert design: proven reliability & durability
0331 series
The Bürkert 0331 valve is a direct-acting, media separated pivoted armature valve. Orifices up to DN 4 and pressure ranges from 0 to 16 bar. What makes this valve different from the 0330, is that it doesn't have threads, but a Bürkert SFB (Specific Flange design Bürkert) flange connection at the bottom. This flange can be used to mount the valve onto a manifold or to mount onto a bigger valve (for example the Type 5282) and act as a pilot valve. It is available in 2/2 and 3/2-way versions. The 3/2-way versions are available as normally open, normally closed, distributor or mixing valve. Due to its medium separated design, it's a good solution for aggressive or slightly contaminated media. The standard brass housing satisfies all European drinking water requirements. The 0331 is equipped with manual override for commissioning and testing. ATEX explosion approved versions are also available.
