Shut Off And Soft Start Valves
View Tameson's range of shut-off valves, soft start valves and distributors. Shut-off valves are used for pressurizing and exhausting the pneumatic systems. They can be used independently or in conjunction with an FRL assembly. By quickly preventing air from reaching part of the system in use, shut-off valves make servicing equipment easier without affecting the rest of the system.
The soft-start or start-up valve provides a controlled increase of downstream pressure at startup and can be dumped when needed to exhaust the system pressure quickly. At a pressure of approximately 50% of the input pressure, the start-up valve switches over to maximum throughway. Pressure build-up can be slowed down or sped up using an adjustment screw.
Distributor blocks are used as an intermediate outlet for different qualities of compressed air. Distributors can be equipped with pressure switches or non-return valves.
