Pressure Regulators With Push-In Fittings

The pressure regulators are designed to reduce the pressure from the inlet side and keep the pressure on the outlet side at a desired value. These regulators consist of a pressure reducing element, a loading element and a sensing element. The pressure reducing element is a poppet with its spring, the loading element is a piano spring which defines the pressure and the sensing element is a piston connected to the loading spring and the poppet.

The piston that is pressed by the loading spring pushes the poppet against its spring and opens the valve for air intake. The outlet pressure is regulated by screwing in or out the adjusting screw and compressing or releasing the piano spring connected to the piston. The medium will pass through the valve until it reaches the set pressure of the spring at which point it will push the piston upward and close the orifice with the poppet. If the medium pressure on the outlet side drops the piano spring will overcome its force, moving the poppet and opening the valve to let the medium from the inlet side and increase the pressure.

These regulators have models with an integrated pressure gauge for easier and more accurate control.
