NG6 (D03) Check Valves

NG6 (D03) check valves in this group are pilot-operated sandwich check valves that hold a load in position. They mount between the directional control valve and the sub-plate, with the NG6 interface to ISO 4401-03, CETOP 3 and NFPA D03, and lock the actuator lines of that station.

Oil flows freely through the valve to the actuator. The return flow is blocked until pressure in the opposite actuator line opens the check valve. A cylinder therefore stays where it is when the directional valve is in its centre position or when the pump stops, without creeping from spool leakage in the directional valve.

Versions act on line A, line B or both lines. Choose A or B when the load acts in one direction only, such as a lifting cylinder, and A and B when the actuator must be held in both directions. For reliable closing, combine the valve with a directional valve whose centre position connects A and B to tank, so no residual pressure keeps the check valve open. Every sandwich plate adds height to the stack, so the mounting screws of the directional valve must be longer by the clamp length of each plate.
