Compressor Unloader Valves
An unloader valve is a solenoid valve which is used in compressors to ease the start up of the pump. The valve carries the air for a short period to the outside world. These valves have two or three ports and are normally closed (voltage=open) or normally open (voltage=closed). A brass valve with FKM seal material is recommended. Optionally, a sintered bronze muffler can be installed on the output port of the valve to minimize noise. Read the full article for more information.
