Very energy efficient and robust electric ball valve actuator (IP54) of JP Fluid Control. The actuator can be connected to ball valves of JP Fluid Control BW2 (2-way) and BW3 (3-way) Series. The actuator needs a 12V DC power supply. This type of valve is commonly used in heating systems. The time for opening or closing the valve is approximately 6 seconds.

Installation

The actuator has a 3-wire connection, and must be connected as shown in the diagram below. The actuator is supplied with a cable. Please note: never connect the two control wires at the same time, this could damage the actuator! The actuators can be supplied with an integrated relay, in that case only one control wire is needed.

Important

  • Please observe the color coding of the wires. Never connect the two control wires at the same time, the actuator will be damaged.
