2-way compact ball valve with G 1/2 inch ports and a handle for on/off flow control. The valve bore is 15 mm and the maximum pressure is 50 bar or 725 psi. Suitable for water, neutral, gaseous and non-aggressive, liquid media, mineral oils and compressed air. Also suitable for vacuum (max. -0.9 bar or -13 psi). Description
This 2-way compact ball valve of nickel-plated brass with a valve bore of 15 mm is designed for on/off flow control.
The valve has G 1/2 inch ports. This is BSPP (British Standard Pipe Parallel). With our range of 1/2 inch fittings, the valve can be installed in any pipe.
The housing of the valve is made of nickel-plated brass, the ball is made of hard chrome plated brass and the sealings are made of PTFE/NBR. This valve is suitable for a wide variety media, such as water, neutral, gaseous and non-aggressive, liquid media, mineral oils and compressed air up to a maximum operating pressure of 50 bar or 725 psi. Also suitable for vacuum (max. -0.9 bar or -13 psi). The valve is suitable for temperatures from -20 to 150 °C (-4 to 302 °F).
Use the handle to operate the valve. By rotating it 90 degrees, the valve will open or close. If it is perpendicular to the pipe, the valve is closed. This valve is not suitable for electrical or pneumatic control. For this purpose, valves with an ISO-Top flange (ISO 5211) are recommended.
