This Belimo ZoneTight electrical actuator is designed for controlling quarter turn valves. The actuator delivers a torque of 1 Nm and can open/close the valve in 15 seconds. This actuator requires a supply voltage of 100-240 V AC and has a visual positioning indicator to clearly see the valve position. The actuator features two-point and three-point control. The actuator has a durable plastic housing and has an IP40 protection rating. This actuator can operate within ambient temperatures between 5 and 40 °C (41 and 104 °F). The actuator comes with a 1-meter power cable.

The actuator is equipped with overload protection, the actuator doesn't need limit switches and will stop automatically when the end stop is reached. Remove the actuator by clicking it out, and then use the actuator to rotate the valve spindle. The actuator can be hand-mounted onto the valve without requiring tools. Just ensure only vertical movements (Caution!). The pins should align with the flange holes. The mounting orientation can be configured in 180° increments in relation to the valve. The actuator's rotation angle can be adjusted in increments of 2.5° using a clip. This feature is used for setting the valve's maximum flow rate.

Pros:

  • Manual override
  • The actuator is overload protected
  • Visual position indicator
