Tameson employee Vicente Moll Zamorano

Content Translator and Former Warehouse Manager

Vicente joined Tameson in February 2022 shortly after moving to the Netherlands. He lives with his sixty-nine years old friend in an intergenerational house and is finishing his master’s in Sustainable Energy Technology at TU/e. He has been reported as a peculiar individual with a wide range of interests from mathematics to stand up comedy besides his sustainable concerns.

Work ethics

“I still don’t know why I was born, but I am certainly sure it was not for working. I work because I need to earn my living. However, I would lie if I would say I don’t enjoy working at Tameson. Here I found the space and freedom to be myself at the same time I do something helpful for them, such taking care of the warehouse. I felt part of the team from the very first day and that is super valuable when you just land alone in a different country.”

As a matter of facts

“Before I start my master’s in September, my friends were basically the people at the office (sad but what would you expect?) and up to this day, despite I met a lot of new people at school and I go less often to the office to work on the translations, I still regard them as such. I think we all had pretty much fun in and outside the office and I am really happy they provided me the flexibility I needed to couple the job with my studies. If it wasn’t for them, I wouldn’t be able to work and study at the same time and I will never forget all they did for me, from advising on how to deal with the Dutch Bureaucratic System to every conversation we had.”

Future prospects

“I’m going to Uganda for my internship in September 2023 so I will miss the Kebap Fridays. Anyways, I am happy to work in an international environment with a team spread through the globe. I will definitely come back for academic reasons and as long as they need me I will be there for them.”
