Solenoid Valve 3/2-Way G1/4'' NO Stainless Steel FKM -1-3bar/-15-44psi 24VDC 0330 167850

Solenoid Valve 3/2-Way G1/4'' NO Stainless Steel FKM -1-3bar/-15-44psi 24VDC 0330 167850
Reference: 167850
Brand: Burkert

Burkert 3/2 way solenoid valve (type 0330) with G 1/4 inch threads and a 24 V DC coil. The circuit function of the solenoid valve is normally open (voltage = close). The valve is direct operating, so no differential pressure required. Suitable for max media temperatures of 90 °C (194 °F) and a pressure range of -1 to 3 bar (-15 to 44 psi). Housing of stainless steel with FKM sealing and a 4 mm orifice. The Kv-value is 0.17 m3/h (2.83 l/min at dp = 1 bar water).
Note: DIN connector not included.

This is a Burkert direct operating 3/2 way solenoid valve with G 1/4 inch threads and a 24 V DC coil. The valve has a stainless steel housing with FKM sealing and an orifice size of 4 mm. The circuit function of the solenoid valve is normally open, which means the valve closes when voltage is applied. When the valve is closed, the output port connects to a third exhaust port. As it is direct operating, no pressure differential over the valve is needed to open the valve. Suitable for a pressure range of -1 to 3 bar (-15 to 44 psi) and a maximum temperature of 90 °C (194 °F). The valve has a Kv-value of 0.17 m3/h, this translates to a flow rate of 3 l/min at a differential pressure of 1 bar (for water). In imperial units: Cv = 0.2, which means 0.2 GPM @ 1 psi pressure drop. For many applications it is enough to select a valve based on the thread size and orifice diameter. For more accurate sizing, use the Kv-value with our easy to use valve sizing calculator. The stainless steel housing is very durable, strong and resistant to a wide range of chemicals with the exception of chloride solutions. Please note that the internal valve parts, such as the stainless steel plunger and springs, are also in contact with the medium and must be chemically compatible. Consult our chemical resistance chart to verify compatibility of housing and seals with the medium.

Pros:

  • Solenoid valves open and close very fast compared to many other valve types

Cons:

  • Solenoid valves are very sensitive to dirt and can only be used with clean liquids and gases
  • The coil may get hot when energized. A well ventilated environment is recommended
  • DIN connector not included

Series:

The Bürkert solenoid valve type 0330 is a direct-operated solenoid valve, meaning no pressure difference is needed to open the valve. This design is media separated, which allows for complete isolation of your fluid from the valve's working parts. This feature makes the valve a good solution for aggressive or slightly contaminated media. The valves can be delivered with DN 2 up to DN 5 or with a flange. The pressure range depends on the voltage, but has a maximum of 16 bar. The valve has a maintenance free pivot armature design instead of the common linear translating plunger. The valve is available in IP65 or IP67 protection. The valve has few moving parts, allowing for a long service life due to minimal wear on valve components. The 2/2-way and 3/2-way versions are designed for applications like mixing, diversion, and universal direction of media. The valves are available with different housing materials, such as brass, stainless steel, PP or PVDF in combination with different sealing materials. Finally, there are options for position feedback, bi-stable, vacuum variants, as well as ATEX explosion approved versions.
