Brand: Burkert

Bürkert 3/2-way solenoid valve (type 0121) with G3/8'' threads and a 24V DC coil. Mixing function (one of 2 inlets connects to outlet) and direct operating, so no differential pressure required. Suitable for slightly contaminated and aggressive media (media separation). For media with max 70°C at a differential pressure of 0-1 bar. Housing of PVDF with FFKM sealing and a 4 mm orifice. The Kv-value is 0.3 m3/h (5 l/min at dp=1 bar water). Manual override feature.

Bürkert direct operating 3/2-way solenoid valve with G3/8'' inner threads and 24V DC (direct current) coil. The valve has a PVDF housing with FFKM sealing and an orifice size of 4 mm. The circuit function of the solenoid valve is mixing, which means that the valve connects one of the 2 inlet ports to the outlet port, depending on the valve's state. Suitable for systems with a differential pressure of 0-1 bar and a maximum temperature of 70°C. The valve has a Kv-value of 0.3 m3/h, this translates to a flow rate of 5 l/min at the differential pressure of 1 bar (for water). This model is media separated and can therefore be used for slightly contaminated and aggressive media. The PVDF (PolyVinyliDene Fluoride) housing has excellent overall chemical resistance and is widely used with deionized/distilled and demineralized water and many chemical processes. PVDF is unsuitable for hot solvents as well as for ketones, esters and strong bases. The FFKM (perfluorinated rubber) sealing has excellent chemical properties, better than FKM and similar to PTFE. Consult our chemical resistance chart to verify compatibility of housing and seals with the medium. Manual override feature can be used to commission the system. Energy efficient design for a long product lifecycle. The valve has an IP65 rating if properly connected.

Important advantages

  • Can be used with slightly contaminated or aggressive media thanks to the media separated design
  • As standard, it is equipped with a robust manual override for easy comissioning and in case of a power outage
  • Energy-saving design which ensures a low heating of the medium and, in addition, a long service life
  • Good protection against the environment thanks to the IP65 rating
  • Bürkert design: proven reliability & durability

0121 series

The Bürkert type 0121 valve is a direct-operated, media separated pivoted armature valve with a stainless steel (316L), PTFE (teflon), PVC (polyvinyl chloride), PP (polypropylene) or PVDF (polyvinylidene fluoride) housing. This design allows for complete isolation of your fluid from the valve's working parts, making it a good solution for aggressive or slightly contaminated media like alkaline and acidic solutions. It is available in 3/2- and 2/2-way versions. As a 3/2-way version, it can be delivered as a normally open, normally closed, distributing or mixing valve. It can be delivered with a diameter from DN 2 up to DN 8. As it is direct-acting, no pressure differential over the valve is needed to open the valve. Depending on the model, it can operate up to 6 bar. All 0121 valves come with a manual override for commissioning and testing. ATEX explosion approved versions are also available.
