This 2-way hydraulic steel ball valve from Hydac with G 3/4 inch ports can withstand operating pressures of 315 bar or 4569 psi. The high quality materials and design standards provide a reliable on/off control for many cycles. The valve has a full bore design with an internal diameter of 20 mm which provides unobstructed flow of the hydraulic or heating oil.
The valve housing has a block shape design and is made of zinc-plated steel. The ball is made of chromium-plated steel and the sealings are made of POM/NBR. The valve is suitable for temperatures from -10 to 80 °C (14 to 176 °F).
Use the handle to operate the valve. By rotating it 90 degrees, the valve will open or close. If the handle is perpendicular to the pipe, the valve is closed. This valve is not suitable for electrical or pneumatic control. For this purpose, valves with an ISO-Top flange (ISO 5211) are recommended.
The valve is delivered including a handle. The material is aluminium for a straight handle and zinc-plated steel for an angled handle.
Hydac's steel hydraulic ball valves of the BL2E-MHY series are characterized by a high operating pressure of up to 500 bar. The valve housing is made of zinc-plated steel and the ball is made of chromium-plated steel. These valves operate within a temperature range from -10 to 80 °C (14 to 176 °F) with POM/NBR sealing materials. They are manually operated by turning the handle 90 degrees. Two types of handles are available - straight or angled. The material of the handle is die-cast zinc and above DN 20 straight handles are made of aluminium and angled are made of zinc-plated steel. The ports are available as inner (female) threaded, BSPP (British Standard Pipe Parallel) or with cutting ring connections according to ISO 8434-1. The sizes for BSPP threaded ports range from G 1/8 inch to G 2 inch. From 1/8 to 1-1/4 inch, the housing has a block shape and larger sizes have a rounded octagonal body shape. The sizes for cutting ring ports range from 6 to 42 for load class L (light) and from 8 to 38 for load class S (heavy). All valves have a full bore design. They offer maximum flow rates with no extra friction losses and easy maintenance.
