2-Way compact DN 50 flanged ball valve made of stainless steel 1.4408 with PTFE sealings. The valve is suitable for water, oil, compressed air, fuels, solvents and aggressive media up to a maximum pressure of 40 bar or 580 psi. Handle operated and also suitable for electrical or pneumatic actuation with an ISO 5211 flange, F05. The valve operates within a temperature range from -20 to 200 °C (-4 to 392 °F).
This 2-way compact flanged ball valve with a full bore (50 mm) provides reliable on/off flow control. The valve has DN 50 PN 40 flanges for connection with pipes on both sides.
The housing of the valve is made of stainless steel 1.4408 and the ball is made of stainless steel 1.4408. The sealings are made of PTFE. The valve is suitable for various aggressive and corrosive media up to a maximum pressure of 40 bar or 580 psi. The valve operates within a temperature range from -20 to 200 °C (from -4 to 392 °F).
Use the handle to operate the valve. By rotating it 90 degrees, the valve will open or close. If the handle is perpendicular to the pipe, the valve is closed. Avoid opening and closing it quickly to protect the system from the possible water hammer and further damage. The valve has a flange according to the ISO 5211 F05 norm. This makes the valve suitable for electrical or pneumatic actuation. Always check if the design of the mounting flange suits your actuator.
Our stainless steel compact flanged ball valve series ranges from DN 15 to DN 100. The operating pressure of these valves is up to 16 and 40 bar or 232 and 580 psi. The housing and the ball of the valves are made of stainless steel 316 which has the highest resistance to corrosion. These valves are suitable for a wide variety of media, such as water, steam, oil, compressed air, fuels, solvents and aggressive media. The high quality materials and PTFE/FKM sealings provide an operating temperature range of -20 to 200 °C (-4 to 392 °F). Besides flanges for connection with piping systems these valves are equipped with an ISO 5211 flange. This flange provides mounting of an electrical or a pneumatic actuator. To operate these valves use a handle. These ball valves have a full bore and offer maximum flow rates with the lowest pressure drop. The valves in the BL2SH-AMF-SD-series of Tameson are characterized by a long service life.
