Use the handle to operate the valve. By rotating it 90 degrees, the valve will open or close. If the handle is perpendicular to the pipe, the valve is closed. Avoid opening and closing it quickly to protect the system from the possible water hammer and further damage. The valve has a flange according to the ISO 5211 F07 norm. This makes the valve suitable for electrical or pneumatic actuation. Always check if the design of the mounting flange suits your actuator.
