This 2-way flanged ball valve with a full bore (100 mm) provides reliable on/off flow control. The valve has DN 100 PN 16 flanges for connection with pipes on both sides and a standard length of 190 mm according to DIN 3202-F4.

The housing of the valve is made of cast iron and the ball is made of stainless steel 1.4301. The sealings are made of PTFE/FKM. The valve is suitable for water, oil, compressed air, fuels up to a maximum pressure of 16 bar or 232 psi and vacuum application (max. -0.999 bar or -14.49 psi). The valve operates within a temperature range from -10 to 120 °C (from 14 to 248 °F).

Use the handle to operate the valve. By rotating it 90 degrees, the valve will open or close. If the handle is perpendicular to the pipe, the valve is closed. Avoid opening and closing it quickly to protect the system from the possible water hammer and further damage. The valve has a flange according to the ISO 5211 F10 norm. This makes the valve suitable for electrical or pneumatic actuation. Always check if the design of the mounting flange suits your actuator.

Pros:

  • The valve has a standardized length according to DIN 3202-F4
  • Unobstructed media flow path thanks to the full bore construction
  • The ISO 5211 flange makes it suitable for electrical and pneumatic actuators and it is equipped with a handle for manual actuation
  • Suitable for vacuum applications
  • Easy interchange and maintenance thanks to the standardized DN 100/PN 16 flange

Cons:

  • Not possible to disassemble for inspection and maintenance
  • Please note that mounting an actuator on the ISO top flange of the valve requires an adapter

BL2CI-AMF series

Our 1 piece cast iron flanged ball valve series ranges from DN 25 to DN 200. The operating pressure of these valves is from -0.999 bar or -14.49 psi to 16 bar or 232 psi. The housing is made of cast iron GG25 and the ball is made of stainless steel. These valves are suitable for a wide variety of media, such as water, oil, compressed air, fuels and also vacuum applications. The operating temperature range is from -10 to 120 °C (14 to 248 °F). The length of the valves conforms to DIN 3202-F4 standard and for DN 200 to DIN 3202-F5. Besides flanges for connection with piping systems, some of these valves are equipped with an ISO 5211 flange. This flange provides mounting of an electrical or a pneumatic actuator. To operate these valves use a handle. These ball valves have a full bore and offer maximum flow rates with the lowest pressure drop. The valves in the BL2CI-AMF-series of Tameson are characterized by a long service life.
