Select and buy a manual 2-way brass ball valve with bleeder or strainer online for your application. A ball valve with bleeder allows for draining of condensate and air recharging. A ball valve with strainer is an economic replacement for two ball valves and a strainer. The 2-way function means it has 2 ports, an inlet and an outlet, and a ball with a bore in it. They are operated by a manual hand lever to turn the ball 90 degrees. Simply turn the handle perpendicular to the pipe to close it and parallel to the pipe to open it. The brass housing is suitable for water, compressed air, oils, non-aggressive media, and much more. The brass housing also makes them economical and able to withstand high pressure, high temperature, and high flow rate applications. The threaded connection ports make it easily installed. Manual 2-way brass ball valves with bleeder or strainer are an economic choice, simple operation, reliabile, have a long service life, and suitable for a wide range of application uses.

Other main selection criteria for a manual 2-way brass ball valve with bleeder or strainer include: connection size, seal material, pressure rating, and temperature rating.

Bleeder and strainer

The block and bleed ball valve has a drain top that can be mounted on the left or right side of the valve. Often, these valves are used on expansion vessels. The drain tap, or port, can also be used to drain the downstream line when the valve is in the closed position.

The ball valve with strainer provide filtering of the media, easy installation and easy maintenance. The ball valve strainer's filter can be replaced when the valve is connected to the system as the outlet port depressurizes after closing the valve.
