3-way electric ball valves

Select and buy a 3-way electric ball valve online for your application. The 3-way ball valve is used for mixing, distributing, or diverting media as it has 3 ports. The electric actuator is capable of turning the internal ball that has a bore in it to switch the circuit functions and direct, mix, or stop the media flow. They are one of the most common valves due to their simple operation, reliability, long service life, and wide range of application uses. Various connection styles are available (threaded, cutting ring, etc.) for easy application installation.

Other main selection criteria for 3-way electric ball valves include: L-port or T-port, housing material, connection size, seal material, pressure rating, and temperature rating.

  • 3-way brass ball valves have brass as their housing material. They are very common, durable, and can be used with water, compressed air, oils, non-aggressive media, and much more. They commonly have water or gas approvals, making them excellent 3 way water or gas control valves.
  • 3-way stainless steel ball valves have stainless steel as their housing material. They are typically used for aggressive and corrosive media. Stainless steel is also highly wear, temperature, and pressure resistant.

3-way

A 3-way ball valve has 3 ports. There are two design types: L-port and T-port. This refers to the bore design in the ball, which is the media flow path. With a 3-way valve with actuator and a T-port or L-port, it is possible to do mixing, distribution, or diverting of the media flow. Therefore, it is important to know your bore design to ensure your desired media flow is possible as the ports can be in different positions. The pressure inlet for 3-way ball valves is typically on the center borehole, to avoid leakage, unelss defined otherwise in the product specifications. These 3-way electric ball valves are motorized and can be controlled remotely to switch between the citcuits. If electrical voltage is already available, a 3-way control valve is a good investment to automate the process.
