2-way electric ball valves

Select and buy a 2-way electric ball valve online for your application. The 2-way ball valve is one of the most common valves on the market. It has 2 ports, an inlet and an outlet, and a ball with a bore in it. The electric actuator can turn the ball 90 degrees from open to closed (or closed to open), which is why they are often called quarter turn ball valves, shut off valves, or electric open close valves. They are one of the most common valves due to their simple operation, reliability, long service life, and wide range of application uses. Various connection styles are available (threaded, flanged, etc.) for easy application installation. A threaded ball valve is the most common, as they are simply threaded into an existing assembly.

  • Electric brass ball valves have brass as their housing material. They are very common, durable, and can be used with water, compressed air, oils, non-aggressive media, and much more. They commonly have water or gas approvals.
  • Electric PVC ball valves have PVC as their housing material. They are typically used for water management and irrigation applications as they are suitable for corrosive media (sea water), most acids and bases, salt solutions, organic solvents, and much more.
  • Electric stainless steel ball valves have stainless steel as their housing material. They are typically used for aggressive and corrosive media. Stainless steel is also highly wear, temperature, and pressure resistant.

2-way

A 2-way ball valve has 2 ports, an inlet and an outlet, making it a straight ball valve. Therefore, media will only flow in one direction and they are considered inline ball valves with the rest of the assembly. The ball valve is controlled and turned by the electric actuator. If the valve is open, then the media will flow from the inlet, through the ball's bore, and out the outlet. If the valve is closed, then the media flow is shut off.

An electric actuated ball valve can be controlled to be open or close (2-point or 3-point control) or modulating. A 2-point and 3-point control only requires the electric control valve to be powered on to open or close the valve completely. Once in the position, it does not require power. A modulating electric ball valve is capable of positioning the ball valve opening anywhere between 0 and 100%. Any of the control methods will provide a consistent performance in a robust package.
