manual brass angle seat valves | Tameson

View our wide range of manual brass angle seat valves. These brass valves have the valve seat placed at an angle for a low resistance. A spindle is moved in a linear motion by a manual operated spindle to move the seal towards or away from the valve seat. Due to the Y-shape the medium can flow through relatively easily (few bends). As a result, these valves have a high flow capacity and Kv value in comparison with vertical globe valves. Brass is a robust material suitable for many fluids. Angle seat valves are reliable, require low maintenance and are characterized by a long lifespan with millions of cycles. Angle seat valves can also be referred to as y-valves, globe valves, or shut-off valves.
