Chemicals is a broad term, but our selection includes (isn't limited to) hoses suitable for acids, alkalis, hydrocarbons, and industrial solvents.

Chemical hose selection criteria

One of the most important chemical hose selection criteria is the material. Chemical hoses are typically manufactured from rubbers and plastics such as EPDM, EPM and PTFE. Depending on the application the hoses can have an inlay made of a high tensile-strength material like steel or textile. To find out if a hose is suitable for your application, please consult our chemical resistance table. Additionally, it is important to know your application's specifications for operating pressure, workign temperature, inner diameter, and bending radius.
