The valve is suitable for hot water and steam, water, air, carbon dioxide, dilute acids and bases, strong acids and bases, oil, fuel, solvents, alcohols, lubricant, combustible gases, sea water and demineralized water up to a maximum pressure of 16 bar (232 psi), vacuum (max. -0.9 bar or -13 psi) and media temperatures from -20 to 180 °C (-4 to 356 °F). The actuator withstands temperatures up to 80 °C (176 °F), so for higher media temperatures the actuator should be cooled. The spring open actuator has an aluminum housing with aluminum covers. Delivers 28 Nm at 8 bars (control pressure 2.5-10 bar). ATEX (EX II 2GD c 85 °C (size 12 or greater: 110 deg;C) certified for explosive environments. The actuator has G 1\/4 inch air ports and a 1\/4 Namur interface to directly mount a solenoid valve.
