View our wide range of adjustable gas safety valves that are used to vent overpressure in your system. A safety valve vents the medium to prevent pressure build-up, thereby increasing the safety of the system. These valves have an adjustable set pressure and once the pressure reaches this limit it will immediately fully open to release the excess pressure. This is usually accompanied by a popping sound. When the system’s pressure goes back down to the set pressure limit, the valve will close. There is a range that the set pressure can be adjusted to. It is typically adjusted via a screw mechanism. This keeps downstream equipment and people safe from the dangers of overpressure in a system. These safety valves are specifically made for gas-based applications and therefore not suitable for systems transporting liquids.
