There are three types of hydraulic valves: Directional control valves, pressure control valves and flow control valves.
Directional control valves direct the flow in the hydraulic system towards a particular direction. They can stop or start the flow of fluid. Directional control valves can also change the direction in which a fluid flows within a hydraulic circuit.
Pressure control valves reduce/relief the pressure of the fluid as it flows through the system. They ensure that the pressure of the fluid is below the set limit so that no dangerous situations arise. They can be deployed within various parts of the circuit.
Flow control valves regulate the rate at which fluids flow in hydraulic systems. This is achieved by opening and closing an orifice with a tapered end. This results in higher or lower flow ratesrespectively. Both compensating and non-compensating flow control valves are available. Compensating flow control valves adjust to variations in inlet and outlet pressure while non-compensating flow control valves do not adjust the to variations in the pressure.
We offer 5 different types of valves for this purpose:
These valves, in combination with hydraulic fittings and hoses, are used to control a complete hydraulic system.
