Collection: Flanged Ball Valves
Select and buy a manual 2-way flanged ball valve online for your application. A flanged ball valve allows for quick and easy installation into an existing piping system or onto components. It has 2 ports, an inlet and an outlet, and a ball with a bore in it. They are operated by a manual hand lever to turn the ball 90 degrees, which is why they are often called quarter turn ball valves or shut off valves. Simply turn the handle perpendicular to the pipe to close it and parallel to open it. Flanged ball valves are known for their simple operation, reliability, long service life, and wide range of application uses. A wide range of flange sizes, unit length, and orifice sizes are available making them suitable for a wide array of applications.
Other main selection criteria for manual 2-way flanged ball valves include: connection size, seal material, pressure rating, and temperature rating.
- Flanged 1-piece ball valves can not be taken apart for cleaning as the whole assembly is casted as 1-piece.
- Flanged ball valves with approvals are required for certain applications, like gas appliances. They are made in accordance to a standard, like DVGW.
- ISO-top flanged ball valves are ready to be installed with an electric or pneumatic actuator due to the ISO 5211 top.
- Stainless steel flanged ball valves have stainless steel as their housing material. They are typically used for aggressive and corrosive media. Stainless steel is also highly wear, temperature, and pressure resistant.
Due to the flange, these ball valves can be installed directly into existing piping systems (or components) very easily. They have standardized flange designs and sizes, making them easy to make the counter flange. Standardized lengths (like DIN 3202-F4 or DIN 3202-F5) ensure you know the space they will occupy or if you need a compact flanged ball valve (typically don't adhere to a standard).
